The Merlion is an icon of Singapore, located at the Marina bay. Even though there are few Merlion statues built around Singapore, including the giant 37 m replica at Santosa Island, the original statue of 8.6 m at the Merlion park retains the fame and attraction. Thanks to my friend K.Shivakanthan, I made a memorable flash trip around the city (country indeed).
