Ancient Siam, Thailand

Ancient Siam, formerly known as Ancient City or "Mueang Boran" in Thai, is dubbed as the world's largest outdoor museum, featuring over 115 of structures of Thailand's famous monuments and architectural attractions.

Ancient Siam is an ideal place for a day trip from Bangkok. Due to its huge area, a vehicle would be needed to visit all the attractions. Thai food and snacks are available at reasonable prices at various locations inside Ancient Siam, and the model floating marketing offers a good range of Thai food in an interesting atmosphere.

Location: Samut Prakan province (1 hour drive from Bangkok).

Entry fee (as in 2009):
Foreigners - 300 Baht/person
Thais - 150 Baht/person (also for Thailand work permit holders)
